Here is a clear explanation and benefits on each part of the class:

Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique such as focusing their mind on a particular object, thought, or activity to train attention, awareness, achieve mental clarity, and emotional calmness and stability.

Myofascial release (MFR) refers to the technique of applying gentle pressure on 'trigger points' to release tension in the connective tissues or fascia that bind and support our muscles, organs, bones, joints, nerve fibers and other structures of our body. Self myofascial release is a practice that uses tools to target the fascia within your body. When applied, we can begin to unwind areas that are holding tension and stress. You can improve blood flow and circulation. This can also improve range of motion and enhance mobility. With MFR you will become more relaxed and at ease within the body.

Restorative yoga is a style of yoga that encourages physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. This is for all levels practice. Restorative yoga is practiced at a slow pace, focusing on long holds, stillness, and deep breathing. Yin yoga is a slow, soothing, and meditative style of yoga that targets the deep connective tissues, bones, joints, fascia, and ligaments in the body. It also focuses on stretching and stimulating different acupressure points from Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Reiki is a Japanese form of alternative medicine called energy healing. It is a technique that uses gentle touch. Reiki takes a non-invasive approach to energy transfer that is extremely effective in promoting overall wellness. The energy transfer through Reiki may make people feel peaceful, relaxed, and lighter which allows them to be in touch with their inner selves and reflect clearly on their lives. Reiki treatment promotes the consistent and unlocked flow of energy throughout the body. This allows people to feel less stress, enhances learning and memory, promotes mental clarity, and physical healing/ less physical pain. It also allows the body to protect itself from exhaustion, burnout, or immune system failure. You can always expect to feel extremely relaxed after a Reiki session. Reiki addresses the whole person mind, body, and spirit not just the physical being. Reiki balances your internal body levels to return to a near-natural state. This means that your breathing, heart rate, blood pressure, circulation, and other bodily systems will improve.

A sound bath is a meditative experience where those in attendance are “bathed” in sound waves. These waves are produced by various sources, including healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles, tuning forks, and even the human voice itself. Sound baths can have a positive effect on mental health and physical pain.
