*Click on picture to reserve a spot. The link will be at the bottom of the page.

Here is a clear explanation and benefits on each part of the class:

Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique such as focusing their mind on a particular object, thought, or activity to train attention, awareness, achieve mental clarity, and emotional calmness and stability.

Myofascial release (MFR) refers to the technique of applying gentle pressure on 'trigger points' to release tension in the connective tissues or fascia that bind and support our muscles, organs, bones, joints, nerve fibers and other structures of our body. Self myofascial release is a practice that uses tools to target the fascia within your body. When applied, we can begin to unwind areas that are holding tension and stress. You can improve blood flow and circulation. This can also improve range of motion and enhance mobility. With MFR you will become more relaxed and at ease within the body.

Restorative yoga is a slow, soothing, and meditative style and slow pace yoga. It focuses on the release of mind-body tension and bringing the nervous system into a state of healing by long holds with support from props and deep breathing. It also focuses on stretching and stimulating different acupressure points from Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Reiki is a Japanese form of alternative medicine called energy healing. It is a technique that uses gentle touch. Reiki takes a non-invasive approach to energy transfer that is extremely effective in promoting overall wellness. The energy transfer through Reiki may make people feel peaceful, relaxed, and lighter which allows them to be in touch with their inner selves and reflect clearly on their lives. Reiki treatment promotes the consistent and unlocked flow of energy throughout the body. This allows people to feel less stress, enhances learning and memory, promotes mental clarity, and physical healing/ less physical pain. It also allows the body to protect itself from exhaustion, burnout, or immune system failure. You can always expect to feel extremely relaxed after a Reiki session. Reiki addresses the whole person mind, body, and spirit not just the physical being. Reiki balances your internal body levels to return to a near-natural state. This means that your breathing, heart rate, blood pressure, circulation, and other bodily systems will improve.

A Healing Circle is also known as a sacred circle. Circles represent the cycle of life and the flow of energy in motion. It is perfect for healing. The circle is a holy symbol representing the goddess, time, unity, and completeness. Beating a drum is one of the oldest practices of humankind. The beat of the first drum reminds our distant ancestors of that very first rhythm we heard, the comforting heartbeat of our deep connection to our mother's body and to Earth itself. Drumming brings physical, emotional, and spiritual healing that could profoundly impact individual health.

At the beginning of the class there will be a guided meditation. We will using props in the class such as blocks, blankets, straps, tennis balls and bolsters. I will guide you through Yin Yoga practice infused with Self MFR/Self-massage (please see below). I will be performing individual hands-on Energy (Reiki) Healing throughout the yoga practice.  The closing of the class there will be a Crystal Bowl Sound Bath. This class will be reserve only, 8 spots available. You need to bring your own mat. Dress comfortable. The price for this class is $50, including taxes & fees.

Yin yoga is a slow, soothing, and meditative style of yoga that targets the deep connective tissues, bones, joints, fascia, and ligaments in the body.

A sound bath is a meditative experience where those in attendance are “bathed” in sound waves. These waves are produced by various sources, including healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles, tuning forks, and even the human voice itself. Sound baths can have a positive effect on mental health and physical pain.
